Narrative of the Event
Aun Muhammad Rizvi, a prominent figure and controller of Pakistan Television Corporation, fell victim to his Shia identity when three assailants attacked his residence in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan.
Despite security measures, the gunmen breached Aun’s home, leaving him injured. Two of the motorcyclists rang his doorbell, while the third waited outside. As Rizvi, a Shia Muslim, opened the gate, the two assailants in their 20s pushed him inside and opened fire, as recounted by the deceased’s sons to the police.
