Narrative of the Event
On February 25, 1995, militants from Sipah-i-Sahaba Pakistan, a radical organization opposing Shi’a Muslims from the Deobandi sect, attacked the Shi’a Muslim mosque ‘Mehfil-i-Abu l Fazal Al-Abbas’ in PIB colony, Karachi. They fired upon Shi’a Muslims during the morning prayer, resulting in six deaths and 16 severe injuries.
