Narrative of the Event

Kurram, April 11, 2007: Several rockets were fired on Borki village from across the Afghan border on Wednesday, wounding three tribesmen, residents and officials said. They said that at least 15 rockets had been fired from across the border, which hit houses in Borki village, some 20 km west of here. Villagers said that rival groups had carried out the rocket attack. The authorities denied that the Borki attack was of a sectarian nature. 27 more Shia Muslims were killed and 30 were injured during anti-Shia violence.
