Narrative of the Event

Doctor Sibtain A.R. Dosa, an active member of Khoja Twelver Shi’a Jama’at Karachi, was targeted for killing at his clinic on May 2, 2000.

Two people were killed and two others seriously injured when unidentified persons attacked a clinic in Kharadar. On Tuesday night, May 2, 2000. The residents of the area had told the reporters that four unidentified assailants, armed with automatic weapons, had stormed the clinic in a narrow alley of Kharadar and sprayed the people present there with bullets.

 

Two patients, identified as Mohammad Nawaz and Mohammad Arshad, suffered multiple injuries and died on the spot. The clinic’s doctor, Syed Sibtain Hasan A.R. Dosa, 50, and his dispenser, Ali Nawaz, 35, who had sustained serious injuries, passed away in the hospital.

Doctor Sibtain A.R. Dosa was a very active member of Khoja Twelver Jama’at Karachi.
