Narrative of the Event
On March 7, 2005, Shi’a Muslim Excise Inspector Naqi Abbas Naqvi, 42, was gunned down in Gulbahar on Tuesday when he was heading home from work in Hasan Colony. As Naqvi slowed down his motorcycle on a speed-breaker, an unknown person on the motorcycle shot him in the head.
Apart from being an inspector in the Excise Department, Naqvi was vice president of the Azadari Anjuman and trustee of the Imambargah Masoomeen.
